Our senior citizens are a vital and cherished part of our Delran family. Unfortunately, in a technology-driven world, engaging with the township has become increasingly more challenging for those members of our town. For the last four years, we have continued to develop outreach options to help our seniors navigate services and resources that they may need but not know are available.
This year, we expanded that outreach to hold the First Annual Senior Expo, which brings state, county and local services to our seniors and their caregivers together all in one place. Participants include a wide range of organizations from the Burlington County Sheriff’s Office Senior Services Unit, Active Day Delran Adult Daycare, the Burlington County Office on Aging, Resources for Independent Living, Goodwill Home Medical Equipment, The Red Cross, Delran Police, Delran Fire Department, Delran EMS, and the Office of Emergency Management.
Delran seniors will be able to get information and register for needed services all in one place.
