The 2018 Budget was approved at the March 10, 2018 Council meeting.  This year we used more of our surplus for tax relief (one of its intended uses). The budget was slated to be another Zero increase. But, in anticipation of a shared service agreement that has yet to be completed and a couple of other programs that had slightly higher costs, we decided that the fiscally responsible thing to do was to add a slight tax increase to keep the town in the best financial shape in recent history. The increase for the year for the average homeowner would be approximately $22.00.
