Tom has lived in Delran for ten years and loves the people, schools, and community. He first got involved in the community during the High School’s homecoming week to help build the float for his daughter’s class.
He became further involved with the community by fundraising for Jake’s Place and after meeting some of the elected officials. He was asked to fill a vacant seat on the Zoning Board in 2016 and hasn’t stopped helping Delran since.
Tom Lyon started his career as a UPS Service Provider in 1986 and is proud of his 32+ years as a Teamster. He has been a Business Agent and elected Trustee of Teamsters Local 676 since 2007. He also holds the title of Political Coordinator for Local 676.
